A diamond of a place!
It’s no wonder that the Michelin Man is so fat! This two-star restaurant said I was going to get a seven course tasting menu but with all the “chef’s surprises” it ended up nearer double that. I marvel at the ideas they have and the trouble they go to in order to get it just right. The last two star place I went to was Sat Bains in Nottingham UK and I felt I spent a bit too much time noting down the courses and photographing the food. This time I just took a few shots and enjoyed the ride. A dear do, but worth every penny. Our Glaswegian sommelier (!) helped us choose a good Portuguese wine and service was perfect – unrushed but on time. Save up your euros and have a blast! You will remember it fondly for a long time.
